Hunting & Saddle Mule

I have a 2005 molly mule, 15.1hh, red dun with a large star on forehead that we raised and imprinted. She has a great disposition, easy to catch, clip, shoe, and load. Went to a professional trainer last spring for 30 days where she worked on trail riding. Then she spent 6 weeks in the Clearwater Forest in Idaho where she packed bear, hay, grain, duffel and rock for new tent floors. I rode her a few times guiding bear hunters and she did great. Walks out fast but not pushy and will lead a pack string. Dad rode her a few times back here in Iowa last summer but she's had the winter off. She's got a really good start on her and will make someone a super nice mule. $2000. Brian Gruver Email me.

Steve Edwards Mule Saddles
Made with showing, working and trail riding comfort in mind for you and your mule; Steve Edwards has designed these saddles to fit all mules! This saddle is built on a durable, molded polyethylene tree with an iron horn encapsulated into the tree to make them sturdy enough to use for packing and working cattle as well as trail riding in rough terrain-guaranteed to fit your mule! Built on MULE BARS that Steve has developed and used since 1986, these bars are a proven great fit on mules. (Click here for more info on these MULE BARS.) Steve has never found a mule that his bars will not fit! The seat, cantle and pommel are shaped to provide a secure seat and comfort to the rider who spends long hours in the saddle.

Since the rear cinch is the most important it must be the tightest Steve uses 5" perforated neoprene cinches front and rear. Tip from Steve: When you tighten the front cinch tighter then the rear cinch this creates a canter lever action which pulls the saddle forward. This is why Steve has learned from the mule and donkey to have the rear cinch the tightest cinch. This is why Steve uses two neoprene cinches on all of his saddles. At only 28 pounds for the 16" Trail Rider, this saddle is lightweight but tough! Yes, Steve has dragged fire wood to the camp. Working cattle, Steve has used this very tough saddle.

Available in 14", 15", 16" or 17" seat sizes.

Saddle fitting video comes with the saddle. Steve has developed a video to help you place your saddle, britchen, breast collar and cinches in the correct positions. This video comes free with each saddle. .Saddle shown with options such as as padded with basket stamp and taps. Please note all padded seats have a Cheyenne roll. Please see options and hey give Steve a call if you have any questions 602-999-6853 Features
