So we had a few beers!  Deerie is fine, he was sedated to cut off his horns so he wouldn't hurt us. This, after he put a horn through the mare's hip and the radiator of my truck when I tried to get him away from her. Deerie was never confined, he went in the yard, the pens, or neighbors fields whenever he wished for 4 years.
